Dental Braces and Aligners
A confident smile starts with well-aligned teeth. At IntegraDMC Medical Centre, we offer a full range of orthodontic solutions—including traditional braces and modern clear aligners—to help you achieve a healthy, beautiful smile at any age.
Why Orthodontic Treatment?
Orthodontic treatment not only improves the appearance of your smile but also contributes to better oral health. Properly aligned teeth are easier to clean, reduce the risk of tooth decay and gum disease, and can help correct bite issues that may cause discomfort or jaw problems.

What are clear aligners
Aligners are used to correct the malaligned teeth and solve the dental problem, resulting in a more aesthetic and pleasing smile. Unlike traditional braces, they are a set of removable plates offering more comfort to the user than metal braces.

Allows maintaining proper hygiene of the teeth
Easy to clean and maintain
There are no restrictions on your favorite food items

How do braces and aligners treatment work?
While using any orthodontic treatment, be it aligners or braces, the concept behind the therapy is to exert constant pressure on the teeth. When pressure is exerted on the teeth, a bone remodeling process starts within the jaw bone.
This process of bone remodeling allows the teeth to move into a more favorable position. After the teeth have moved into the desired location, the retainers are given to prevent relapse.
Experiencing mild discomfort during the initial days of treatment is normal and can be easily managed. It is also essential to maintain proper oral hygiene during the course of treatment.

General Question
Have questions about braces and aligners? Find answers to the most common queries right here!
Clear aligners, also known as invisible braces, are transparent, custom-made trays that gently and gradually move your teeth into the desired position without the need for metal wires or brackets
Clear aligners are ideal for adults and older teenagers with mild to moderate orthodontic issues such as overbites, crowded teeth, widely spaced teeth, or crooked teeth. They may not be suitable for complex cases or for children with baby teeth remaining
Aligners are custom-made using a 3D digital scan of your teeth. Specialized software plans your treatment, and a set of trays is fabricated to move your teeth step-by-step into alignment
Treatment duration varies by individual, but on average, aligner treatment can take between 6 months to 1.5 years, depending on the complexity of the case
Clear aligners are nearly invisible, removable for eating and cleaning, more comfortable, and make oral hygiene easier to maintain. They also typically require fewer dietary restrictions than traditional braces
No, there are no food or drink restrictions because aligners are removable. You should take them out before eating or drinking anything except water
For the best results, aligners should be worn 20–22 hours per day. Removing them for extended periods can delay your progress.
If you lose or break an aligner, contact your dentist or orthodontist as soon as possible. They will advise you on whether to move to the next set or provide a replacement
